How to Submit a Panel, Workshop, or Demonstration
We have expanded the rooms available for programming this September, and are looking for additional panels and events to fill them! We have both indoor and outdoor areas available for programming. All indoor panel rooms come with a table, chairs, microphone setup and audience seating. (Best for panels or workshops.) Outdoor space has no audience seating, but does have access to sound equipment and the stage. (Perfect for dancing or martial art demonstrations.)
All submissions must be reviewed by our program director, and you will be contacted with more information once the review is complete. Programming space is limited, and will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. Also, keep in mind that someone else may have already submitted a similar panel idea, and not all submissions will be accepted. We are looking for entertaining and/or informative programming that will appeal to many attendees, so try to make your topic something less generic than “Cosplay Tips” or “We <3 Anime”.
If you are interested in offering a panel, workshop, or demonstration at SacAnime, please complete the checklist below:
1. Your name, and qualifications for offering the panel or event.
2. The name of the panel or event, and a brief description of what it will be about.
3. Any special needs? (example: “a projector and screen” or “need to be outdoors due to fumes from workshop”)
4. Estimated length of the panel or event. (Must be in 30 minute blocks.)
5. Estimated audience size. (This will help us determine which space to use.)
Email this list, along with your contact information to: sac.program.director@gmail.com
All panel and event submissions must be received before July 31st.
