Unlike in previous years where we had multiple areas available for gatherings, the convention center is not an “open” venue. All cosplay gatherings will now be occurring in the same location, and must be pre-registered with SacAnime. Any gatherings that attempt to form in other locations, or do not pre-register for the schedule, will be asked to disband by convention center security.

All costume gatherings and meet-ups will now occur on the East Lobby Terrace directly outside of the 3rd Floor East Lobby at the convention center. This area is quite spacious, and will allow us to have large gatherings without blocking traffic. There will be a sign in this area listing gatherings that are scheduled for each day. Registration for Cosplay Gatherings will be open until July 19th, 2013 at midnight.

If you would like to host a cosplay gathering at SacAnime, you will need to complete the registration form below.

If more than one group submits a gathering request for the same series, the first submission received gets priority.

All groups must select a FIRST and SECOND choice for the date and time of their gathering. Times will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis. If BOTH of your choices are unavailable, I will contact you to ask for an additional alternate.

We will email you with your date/time has been confirmed, and post it in the forums. After it has been listed, your gathering cannot be rescheduled, it can only be canceled. Also, if more than one group tries to register a gathering for the same series, the first one to register will get the spot.
